Attention all students, parents, teachers, and community members! It’s that exciting time of year again—Johnny’s School Spirit Challenge is back for 2024! Following last year’s success where we gave away thousands of dollars to area schools, we’re thrilled to be back for another year.

From September 9th through October 18th, over 100 high schools will compete in the 2024 Johnny’s School Spirit Challenge. It’s a spirited showdown where the schools with the most support will walk away with prizes. And guess what? Your vote can make the difference!

Participating is easy and fun. Here’s how you can support your local high school:

1. Vote Daily: Visit johnnysmarkets.com/school-spirit every single day from September 9th to October 18th and cast your vote for your school. Every vote counts!
2. Spread the Word: Rally your friends, family, and neighbors to get involved. The more votes, the better the chances for your school to top the leaderboard.
3. Check the Live Leaderboard: Keep up with the competition by checking our live leaderboard!

Here’s the breakdown of the prizes up for grabs:

• First Place: $1,500
• Second Place: $1,000
• Third Place: $500

These funds can be used however the winning schools see fit—whether it’s for new classroom supplies, team uniforms, science labs, club funds, or anything else your school needs.

Last year, 113 schools took part in the contest, and we received over 36,350 votes from community members, students, parents, and faculty eager to show their school spirit. In the end, Galesburg-Augusta, Bronson, and Delton-Kellogg High Schools took home the big prizes — but this year, it could be your school!

So, set your reminders, mark your calendars, and get ready to cheer for your school! Remember, your daily vote and support could be the key to your school’s success.
